INTERNATIONAL VISA POLICY
Due to increased security measures, the Camporee is no longer able to offer letters of invitation. We are sorry, but if you are from a country that requires a travel visa, we cannot assist you in obtaining one.
CAN INTERNATIONAL PATHFINDERS REGISTER ONLINE?
Yes, you can register online. But to finish the process you will need to print the completed online form and go through your local Conference or Union Youth Department for approval and payment.
WHEN IS THE INTERNATIONAL PATHFINDER REGISTRATION DEADLINE?
The deadline for International Pathfinder registration is May 1, 2009, or 2,000 Pathfinders, whichever is reached first.
ARE THERE LATE FEES FOR INTERNATIONAL PATHFINDERS?
No, there are no late fees for International Pathfinders.
CAMPOREE ACCOMMODATIONS
In your Camporee registration form you may request to have an North American Host Club help with your tent and meals. The Camporee will advertise in the Camporee Newsletter your need for a Host Club from North America.
WHAT IS A HOST CLUB?
The North American Host Club will provide the International Club with food and tents from the evening of Monday, August 10, through Saturday evening, August 15. The Host Club is not responsible for transportation, bedding (sleeping bags), medical/accident insurance, or interpreter. If the International Club has more than 12 people, it may be divided between more than one Host Club. A Host Club is not guaranteed. Please wait until you have written confirmation for a Host Club before planning your travel.
WHY ARE ONLY 2,000 INTERNATIONAL PATHFINDERS ALLOWED TO REGISTER FROM OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICAN?
Because North American clubs host the International Pathfinders with free tents and food, the Camporee leaders have found that 2,000 International Pathfinders is the best number to offer the best service possible.
CAN I GET A PROMOTIONAL PIN WITH MY REGISTRATION?
If you are one of the first 50 International Pathfinders to register for the Camporee before April 1, 2008, you will receive a promotional pin commemorating the 2009 Camporee
WHEN DOES REGISTRATION END?
Late fees go into effect on March 1, 2009. Registration closes on April 15, 2009, or when the following limits are reached, whichever is first.
North America - 27,000, International 2,000, Day Passes - 2,000, Staff Children - 2,000Full-time Camporee Volunteer Staff - 1,000, Registration for International Pathfinders closes on May 1, 2009, or when the limit of 2,000 is reached, whichever is first.
We need a theme song and are asking you for your help. Winner will get to attend the International Camporee for free.
